Jer's Vision would like to congratulate board member Julia Cieslukowska for her Capital Xtra Youth Hero Award Nomination. Julia was recognized for her work in founding the Jer's Vision-Dare to Stand Out: The Rainbow Youth Conference; the conference that brings together youth from across the Ottawa region to create solutions to addressing discrimination of all kinds. She is also a co-head of the National Capital Region GSA, a Jer’s Vision Committee that facilitates the collaboration of diversity clubs in the national region. Julia is also an active volunteer with Project Acorn and numerous other organizations in Ottawa.
Jer’s Vision would also like to congratulate board advisor Micheal Burtch for his Capital Xtra HIV Activist Hero Award nomination. Thank you both for all your work with our organization and in our communities!
