DTSO 2010: Alex Munter talks about the evolution of discrimination

Alex Munter, Executive Director of the Youth Services Bureau, spoke at Daret to Stand Out 2010. Whilst speaking about what it can be like being openly gay in society, Alex Munter reminded us that “homophobia, like a clever virus, has mutated as a result of what society deems acceptable or not. We are still facing the banners of discrimination, they are just not as overt” he says, bringing to light the fact that unfortunately, the LGBTQ community, and other groups ,still face discrimination in this seemingly more accepting world.
