Today Jer's Vision took student from the De La Salle Diversity Club, in Ottawa, on a field trip to the National Art Gallery to learn about how art can interpret and explore a diverse world. After, the group went to lunch on Bank Street, followed by a historical tour of the neighbourhood. Along the way, students made stops at After Stonewall books to learn about the role of local bookstores in communities, Bridgehead to learn about fair & equitable business practices, and The Comic Store to learn about how diversity was interpreted in youth literature.
