On International Women's Day, Jer's Vision Board President, Erin Lux, was Awarded a FEMMY (the National Capital Region Feminist Award) from a coalition of women's organization in Ottawa. Erin Lux was joined by other distingued winners, including Awatef Rasheed, Anna Besch, Andrée Côté, and Jane Stinson. The ceremony was hosted by Oni the Haitian Sensation, and attended by leader of the Opposition Michael Ignatieff.
