This Winter, Jer's Vision has had the chance to numerous LGBTQ* Youth Service Providers all over Canada.
As a result, one thing that we discovered was that organizations felt a need to better organize and work together, with a national perspective. The idea that consistently came up was a national conference where service providers could talk about best practices, sharing resources, collaborating (both locally and nationally), speaking out against hate (with one voice), and working together on a national level.
Jer's Vision would like to know what you think about this idea. The conference is proposed to happen on Monday, July 25, 2011 in Vancouver (the day before the Vancouver 2011 Outgames Human Rights Conference).
If you are interested in joining the dialogue, please email Lacey & Devan at: art@jersvision.org
You are also welcome to contact Jeremy Dias, Executive Director at: info@jersvision.org
More information will be available January 20th, 2011
